St. Paul Lutheran School (left) was built in 1951. In 1977, an Activity Center/Gym was constructed for use by the church and the school.
Why St. Paul?
In order to carry out the command of Jesus, "Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you..." the members of St. Paul Lutheran Church established this school because they believed the school to be essential in carrying out God's command regarding the Christian training of children. They also want to assure themselves and their children of the blessings God has promised to those who give their children a Christian education.
General Information St. Paul Lutheran School serves children in grades 1-8. School is in session from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. In addition to class, chapel services are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 8:15 A.M. in the church.
Tuition Information There are no tuition costs for students who are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church. For non-members, the current annual tuition is $1600.
Curriculum In addition to a complete curriculum in all academic areas, children also receive a thourough instruction in religion. Religion includes Bible study, memorization, doctrine, and worship. Law and Gospel, our relationship with God, are the basic ingredients of all instruction, discipline, and guidance.
Music Music is a very important part of the cirriculum. In addition to regular classroom music, students are expected to participate in church services, Christmas services, musicals, etc. A band program is also available for 7th and 8th grade students.
Sports Several interscholastic sports are offered to students in grades 6,7 and 8. Boys' and girls' basketball, girls' volleyball, and cheerleading are currently offered.
